What is Lucid Dreaming?
And why you should definitely learn it...
What is Lucid Dreaming?
Lucid dreaming describes the state in which you become aware, while sleeping, that you are dreaming — and as a result can consciously influence and shape the dream according to your own intentions.
What are the benefits of lucid dreaming?
In a lucid dream, there are virtually no limits — the experience often feels just as vivid and realistic as real life.
Many people dismiss dreams by saying, "It was just a dream," and therefore see no real-life relevance even in lucid dreams. However, what we experience in a lucid dream is processed by the brain in a very similar way to real experiences.
This makes lucid dreaming an excellent tool for practicing movement patterns or deliberately improving certain skills. You can also explore dream worlds, fly, or communicate with your subconscious — the only real limitation is your imagination.
